About Me

Ginger of "GNB Cosplay" has been studying fashion design and pattern making for most of her young life. She has always enjoyed sewing, and creating her own clothes and costumes, as well as creating clothing and costumes for her Barbie's when she was younger.

She is continuing her education at California State University of Northridge (CSUN), so that she may earn a BA degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. She hopes to one day debut her own Harajuku and Gothic & Sweet Lolita inspired clothing lines.

Once she found a way to combine her love of design with her love of Anime, "GNB Cosplay" was born. She started by attending her first Anime convention in 2007, and creating costumes for herself and her friend. She has since created costumes for men, women, and children of all different sizes.

Ginger is the head costumer, pattern drafter, and seamstress. When she's not creating costumes, she enjoys going to Conventions, dancing, drawing, and creating stories. Her dream is to create costumes and accessories for any and all cosplayers around the world.

She has traveled to Italy and Japan to study the trends and to gain inspiration for her future clothing lines. She speaks and understands some Japanese as well. (Nihongo ga wakarimasu.) にほんごがわかります。
