I love to build a rapport with my clients. Not only does it make both you and I more comfortable but it also allows us to build a closer and more harmonious relationship. A relationship in which both concerned communicate and understand the ideas and needs the client is conveying.
I like sharing my knowledge and trade secrets. I want my clients to know that they shouldn't be intimidated in applying makeup. That they can also achieve a look they want through practice and having the right tools.
It gives me a sense of joy and satisfaction to bring out the individual beauty, enhancing key features and making the client feel beautiful.
Clients always ask me how I started my craft. I started off young, by watching my mother do my older sisters makeup for special occasions. I started off practicing on friends, interned, apprenticed and continued to further my education. Later on I studied with mentors, at university, several different product lines and trainers.
To be in the field of make-up artistry, one must always be up to date and continue in furthering education. A make-up artist must know the latest techniques, product knowledge and styles.
