I am a Photographer and Pilot, used to work for an Aerial Photographic company based in Cape Town as an photo-editor. I have recently opened a photographic studio in Cape Town.

Aviation is my life, Photography is my passion and Coffee is my blood. That pretty much sums me up.

While working as a photo-editor I was very restricted with what I was allowed to do with a photograph, being technical images, there was no room to play. Although the images were always heavily photo shopped -fixing cracks in buildings, perspective manipulation etc.

Now everything I do with my photographs is basically in the face of what I had to do before, I love saturation and I love contrast. There are still a few things that are embedded in my thinking though, for example, you will never find a image with a skew horizon, unless it is so dramatic that it has to be.

My whole reason to take photos of people and models is to learn, be creative and get out of that technical grove that I felt trapped in.
