Best method for resizing photos for MM contest
Hello fellow photographers, Regarding uploading an image to the Model Mayhem Contest page -- what do you all think is the best method of resizing the image beforehand? I shoot with a full-frame camera, so after finishing with post-processing in PS I usually downsize the image to 15x10cm and then go "Save for Web" until I get an image that is approximately1MB. I would like my image to be displayed larger, though (meaning in dimensions). But when I use an image which has for example 30x20cm and then downsize it for web it is allways too large. Yet for some reason I do see images on the contest which are displaced almost screensize on my monitor. The same actually goes for the process of uploading an image to my portfolio. I would like the image to be quite larger an still not exceed the maximum file size. Which method do you use? thanks for any advice, Heiko Jul 15 19 02:54 pm Link image dimensions in cm are totally meaningless on the web. The only size measurements of meaning here are in pixels.
