So for this example photo I upped the values so you could see more clearly what I'm referring to in this case it's a weird pattern on this image that should not have moire of any sort.

The image is a 4k resolution image, this particular image I'm editing in after effects as part of a video, but it's a 42 megapixel downscaled to 4k in a comp or even not pre-comped and I place the filters directly to the image or even camera raw.

Now as I said the values in the image are ramped up for the sake of making an example to show you guys. Does anyone know what is going on? It's a .arw sony a7r II. Never shoot without UV Filter. Never shoot near lasers. The video from a7r II is fine as are the images. But for some reason certain images do this and I can't figure out what's going on.

TLDR;
Image has weird pattern on it when applying sharpen filters

I think the pattern is from scaling, but the way to check is try filter again,
without resampling.

Scaling with hardware acceleration is at fault.

Here's an example using Photoshop. Top image with Graphics Processor enabled and the bottom is disabled.

I can achieve the same results with: 1) high ISO, 2) creating a perlin noise filter, 3) black and white filter with some noise.

Can you forward all settings to capture the image?
