My avatar slot it is currently empty and I was looking around and i'm not quite sure how to put an image in that slot? Any help would be appreciated

My Stuff > Manage Photos

You'll see each photo has a button that says "Use as Avatar" next to it.  Make sure it's not an 18+ photo and click the button next to the image you want to use.

I have also been trying. Ive close the browser and re-opened it. .still the same.
I cannot find a way to upload the avatar

Go to My Stuff...Manage Photos You will see your portfolio images, one above the other. To the right of each image, you will see a button that says Set as Avatar Click that button for the image that you want to use. When the "Crop" option appears, for now, you could hit "Skip".
Remember that Mayhem does not allow "M" labeled images to be avatars.
You can change avatars whenever you want.
