Replacing live models w/ 3-d models (pro & con)
OK, Iâm so frustrated with live model's hap hazard intermittent attempts at coordinating shoots, last second cancellations and just plain old failure to show that Iâm wondering if I should just fully commit to my computer rendered 3-d models and bypass the constant hassle of working with live models. To keep me sane and with tongue firmly in cheek I decided to start this thread and elicit pros and cons for going one way or another. Iâll start⦠Pro to working with 3-d rendered models â They can hold a contorted pose over a flaming pit of lava while maintaining a convincing smile and eye contact with the camera. Conâ It takes a 150hrs of rendering to get their hair to blow in the wind. Pro to working with a live model â They typically have hair that blows easily in the wind. Con â The hair in the wind trick only works when they show up! Drama - Unreliable transportation Jul 06 06 08:06 pm Link D. Brian Nelson wrote: What he said!! Especially fun are the ones that "won't pose nude" then somehow are not wearing any clothes! You NEVER get that with 3d models. Jul 07 06 12:40 am Link I've been thinking mixing the two for a long time... Jul 07 06 12:47 am Link isn't modeling photography without a model, masturbation? Iâve been playing with live dolls nearly seventy years and plan to continue to do so. None ever gave me a problem I couldnât handle. Besides theyâre so much more fun and they have real curves, not make believe curves. Jul 07 06 01:42 am Link |
