How much planning should one do for a commercial shoot and what should one plan?
I have a project that will involve a lot of locations, wardrobe, models, and peanut butter. Yes you heard me right! I said "peanut butter"

It is actually a serious question...

Make sure no one is allergic or things could get bad...

It was late at night and I was tired and I probably should have stepped away from the keyboard. The peanut butter was a joke. But I am doing some pre-production and I was wondering what else I should be thinking about.
Most of the shoots I've been on didn't require a lot of planning and we didn't know what the end results would be. However I have some specific ideas and clients will most likely want a predictable outcome. what can I do to control the shoot and get results?
