Any models doing the D&G Trunk Show Boston?
Does it pay anything?

Not sure if it's open to the public.
Not much pays in Boston for models anyway.  A lot of the models work for free and the designers expect them to.  Not sure why, but they do.

I do not get the logic of working a trunk show for free.

Seems stupid.
Seems scumy.
Seems thought up by the Waltons of Walmart.
You will be standing around being made fun of by rich bitchy women who will not give a rats ass who you are and will just hate you for being more beautiful then they are.

You might do a short walk but this is not the press.  there are not usually images sent around.

For free?   Damn,  I may hate that designer more now then ever.

I see models all the time that work for free.  I'm not sure what their logic is for working that event, even if it's for photos.
But, that's Boston for you.

What's a trunk show?  My ignorance is conjuring all sorts of interesting imagery...

Designers may pack their line up and take it to major retailers around the country for local fashion shows and presentation to buyers.  These “trunk shows” might use local models, but often will use the designer’s normal showroom models, who may be either long term employees or hired for the tour from agencies in New York or Los Angeles.

My imagination had a way cooler answer...
