_____________________________________________ _________________________________________ __________________________________ _____________________________ _______________________ _________________ ______________ Today, We Shoot. ______________ ____________________ _________________________ _________________________________ ___________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ Eric is a singularly generic photographer. Devoid of any sense of personal inspiration, he grinds through the routine of being a professional photographer with all the charm & wit of an 8 year old at the doctors office. Constantly at odds with creative directors & art buyers alike, Eric imitates the motions he's seen other photographers go through in studios where someone actually cares about the work, while still missing the ability to connect with anyone on set beyond ordering coffee from his assistant (whom he is also, obviously, alienating & discouraging.) Without a decisive style, and missing any semblance of craftsmanship, he persistently attempts to manipulate each photo shoot to his own ends. Those ends being simply: to get the hell out of there. Eric is really only truly happy at home drinking beer in his underwear and robe, cursing the ineptitude of Art Directors everywhere, or sitting on his surfboard, cursing the tiny waves this god-awful planet is always screwing him with while his feet go numb. More suited to low-end weddings or bar-mitzvahs, Eric is convinced he is the next big thing. He won't compare himself to any other contemporary photographer since, in his words: "They're all idiots." He's misguidedly here to usher in a new era of photography, With as little effort as possible.
