Hello: I am photographer specializing in portraiture (fashion, beauty, boudoir, portfolio), abstract, architectural and event photography.

My portrait photography has focused on corporate, student/graduation, fashion, beauty, and boudoir images.

My goal is make a positive contribution to a model's portfolio and work with talented models to produce interesting and creative pieces of art. My goal is to make you look at good as possible and, hopefully, make something new and unique that passes the test of time. If I succeed then I have done my job.

I currently have a 100% success rate with publications of photos so I am always eager to do shoots with publication in mind. I love working with models with publication as a goal.

My shooting style is very relaxed and fun... with collaboration being the key to success. I have very strong references from the models I have worked with (check below)

Many of my photos have been found in corporate brochures and event websites. I currently have a 100% success rate with magazine submissions. Several photos have won international photography contests including three Model Mayhem Pic of the Day Wins in 2016 !

Prices are negotiable. TFP is always an option for the right models, and for projects that make a significant contribution to a portfolio.

My preferred model is a newbies starting to build a portfolio or a veteran model who has fun modeling and does it for the love of the craft. I do not like working with 'touring' models.

I tend to take lots of photos as I invest in more time per session. I like having choices. A session may have 10-15 different looks rather than just 2 or 3, as is the norm. Some models end up with 100+ unique photos, edited, and ready to use for print or social media usage. Try finding one photographer on the planet who will do that for you.

I am an educator, playwright (Pulitzer prize nominated.. try finding an MM photographer with a Pulitzer nomination.. ha!), conference organizer (code for loves to travel), artist and photographer. I have been recognized in every creative endeavor I have done and have won several national championships at my other areas of specialty. I take this stuff very seriously and am ferociously competitive. This works out well when it comes to photos as I will not accept being second best.

I tend to shoot in the following places: Central Valley of California, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Chico, Davis and Sacramento. I will reach out to all other parts of California on occasion.

209 area code rule: If you are living in the 209 area code or have a phone starting with 209 you must make a $100 deposit before any shoots. The 209 area code is notorious as a 95% flake rate area. Setting up and arranging shoots is expensive and time consuming. Too many shoots have resulted in no-shows in this area code.

My point: I do not allow escorts for any reason. Escorts are used by beginners in this industry. Escorts are more dangerous than photographers, so the use of them tends to indicate problems ahead. 100% of my shoots with escorts have resulted in theft, extreme interference and delays. I have had a gun pulled on me by a jealous 'boyfriend'. No more. It is always a boyfriend, fiancé or husband and they cannot handle photo shoots. They never stay out of the way. Next time you go to your dentist ask if you can have an escort. I will give you the same answer as they will. An 'escort' can visit the location and 'give the ok' but they must leave until the shoot is over. Debate this and the shoot is cancelled on the spot.
