east of grey is a lifestyle brand promoting ethical practices and eco products. All products are original designs and handmade by me, Kim Bailey. I am passionate about using eco-friendly, vintage and reclaimed elements in every design to promote sustainability in the Fashion Industry. Products include womens' clothing and jewellery, homewares, haberdashery and vintage treasures I collect on my hunt for the vintage fabrics used throughout the collections - shoes, bags, jewellery and collectables.
I also teach throughout high schools about sustainability in the Fashion Industry, while running sewing classes from my home near Brisbane.
I love to style eclectic shoots using east of grey pieces mixed with vintage pieces and collaborate with photographers, models, MUA and hairstylists (hence me signing up to Model Mayhem) to create stories far from reality. I hope to meet many talented people on Model Mayhem and have some fun being creative and shooting different looks for editorial submissions and promotional materials for east of grey.
