About Me

Greetings Mayhem'rs,

I have been enjoying the art of photography for over 30 years.  Historically, I primarily worked in commercial photography with artistic photography as my passion (which is what you will see in my port).  I always have current and upcoming artistic projects so if you love art and want to be part of the process, just let me know.

As for my commercial work, if you'd like to be considered for my list of models I hire as needed for my clients, then it is necessary to shoot together at some level.  Because of the time constraints and client expectations of commercial work I will not hire a model I have not worked with previously.  If you'd like to set up a test shoot or be considered for one of my artistic projects, feel free to send me a message.

Side note:  For me it's all about the art.  I couldn't be farther removed from the GWC.  I am happily married to an amazing woman and we have three of the greatest kids.  The models I work with are always treated with the upmost professionalism.  I am also more than happy to also promote a great model to my 300+ associate artists colleagues.  With that said,  because my primary focus on MM is to find art models, let's just talk a little reality.  When I do a commercial shoot with a client and I use a model, I am more than happy to pay them an industry standard rate, it's based on how it is used and not what you want as a rate.  In addition, if you are a model traveling to Southern California, from just about anywhere else (except maybe New York), know that we have a few models around here. I am more than willing to pay an art model, but keep in mind I have my local choice of 25,000+ MM models within 100 miles.  If you don't want to work for the rate I can offer - more power to you - it's just a supply and demand thing for me.  I've never had any trouble finding models to work for a mutually beneficial rate.

So if you have any questions, or you want to set up a shoot - just send me a message.  I don't live on MM, but I do try to check in on messages regularly.  I don't really spend a lot of time changing my portfolio images on MM, so if you want to see a larger selection and current projects, please feel free to visit my website at http://www.PetersonFineArt.com. Check out Gallery Z to get an idea of my current projects.  You will need to click on the fly at the bottom of Gallery A to get to Gallery Z.
