I wanted to let you know about a project that I am working on. I was evacuated due to the fires up here in the mountains. I want a chance to give back to the firefighters that helped to save my house and my neighbors.
I am putting out a call to all of the photographers I know, to come up and shoot in the ash. There is a gallery in Los Angeles that will host a show. All of the proceeds will to go to the two firefighters families that were killed in the line of duty.
I am offering my services of hair and make up to any photographer that needs it. We will all have different visions of how this should look.. which is what I am sorta excited about. I would love it if you were willing to be involved. I think that it will make an amazing and moving show for everyone.

Also, she's going to advertise it heavily, newspapers, fliers, radio and local news shows. We'll be escorted by firefighters and they offered to be photographed as well. We can shoot anytime, it's not a group thing. The pics just need to be done by October sometime because that's when the gallery showing is. Don't know the exact date yet.
I wanted to shoot a retro picnic with a 1950's looking male and female. I wanted it to be colorful so it would contrast with the burnt background.
For that shoot I would need a retro, housewife looking girl. Please have your own clothes, but hair and make-up will be done for you if needed. Be aware that it might get a little dirty because we are shooting in the burnt areas.
I am also VERY opened to ideas! We want to make it fun and not too much doom and gloom, but like I said, I'm open :)

Female models with one, a few, or even a lot of tattoos, are you sick of not being able to get casted for bikini and lingerie shoots? Well here's your chance.
We are casting for a 1-day bikini and lingerie shoot. Think Maxim or Playboy style shoot with tattoos.
Shoot is located at large private outdoor studio in San Marcos. We have a HUGE wardrobe of sexy clothes, outfits, shoes and jewelry. We even have a killer outdoor stereo.
Our full shoots only take a few hours and range in pay from $200 to
$500 (about $100 an hour)
We shoot Bikini, Lingerie, Semi-Nude and Nudes.
The picture are used on "babe" style internet websites.
You can also use these photos for your own portfolio or self
promotion. You can get a copy of your shots about 2 weeks after the
shoot. But you always get paid the same day as the photo shoot!
For new models we like to do a short "Test" shoot first. You will get
paid $100 for this "Test Shoot". Then if you like us and we like you,
we can book you for a "Full Shoot" a few days or week later. Both the "Test"
and "Full Shoot" are paying jobs that require a signed model release
in order to get paid.
We shoot most weekday afternoons but other times are available, let me
know your schedule and let's book a shoot!

I am building up a new portfolio for Summer 09 and wish to work with models who have a serious interest in creative shooting. No nudity expected. Mostly fashion and commercial looking shots or exciting artistic images as per my new portfolio.
I have shot for magazines and commercial clients, and I do not wish to create Zoo magazine style shots. That magazine and the guys behind it are a disgrace to civilised society. If you aspire to be a Zoo girl, don't approach me. My work is focused on beauty and excitement and colour, not boobs and porn. Sexy is beautiful, not whorish.
I dont mind working with models who have done 'that' sort of work but you must be looking for a change, I do wish to work with models who are confident and creative but nothing tarty.. theres already HEAPS of photographers looking to do that.
I will provide high quality PRINTS if the results are good, as well as providing the best images on DVD. I have high-end equipment and creative techniques and obtain stunning shots.
Refreshments will be provided on set. Protective boyfriends are okay to come and babysit, just let me know so i can set aside some toys, a high chair and a playpen.
I shoot with all top end pro Canon gear and Broncolor lighting which I take on location also. I do have a studio of my own in the city (Syd) which we can utilise. I also have heavy duty generator so its possible to work in remote areas for extended periods of time, with the comfort of electricity, fans, small fridges, lights and GHD straighteners! I enjoy going off the beaten track and Im interested in some desert and rainforest shoots and anything inbetween.
Some outfits can be provided, depending on the stylist's availability, we can also utilise your own wardrobe but will discuss this more with selected models.
Hair and make up will be provided and I am always looking to work with excellent stylists and MUA's so that I am surrounded by the best team.. so if you are a stylist or hair technician, let me know- we may get together.
