WOW!!!  Has it been a LONG time since I've been on Model Mayhem...  The last time I updated this page was way back around 2013.  Outside of that and one or two other updates, I've been away from MM since 2007.

Warning to all:  FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, LEARN ABOUT LYME DISEASE AND COINFECTIONS AND HOW TO SHOOT AND MODEL SAFELY WHEN OUTDOORS!!!!

So, for those who remember me, I spent a lot of time during the Summer of 2007 shooting but not feeling that great.  Then, mid-Sept. 2007, I pretty much "fell off the face of the earth".  I woke one night after shooting a wedding in the worst pain imaginable.  I didn't know it at the time, but I had Lyme disease as well as coinfections all from a tick that bit me when I was photographing another model back in May of that same year.  I also didn't know just how sick I was nor how much worse I would become.  I certainly didn't know how long it would go on for. 

11+ years later after suffering beyond words, I was diagnosed with Lyme Encephalitis and several coinfections.  Prior to being diagnosed, I was on a tremendous amount of medications to control the pain and other symptoms, but once I was diagnosed, everything changed as I began intense and lengthy treatment for the diseases, not merely their symptoms.

My life has changed a LOT since the Lyme Encephalitis diagnosis and treatment (not to mention my age - sigh).  I haven't modeled since 2007 although I still do self-portraits and have collaborated a little bit shooting with other photographers who are close friends of mine.  Prior to getting Lyme (etc.), I was pretty much moving from model to photographer, and that is where I am at now at this stage of the game.  I am, however, keeping this modeling page up. 

Anyone interested in creating powerful and creative images that speak to important issues, feel free to message me.  I am also open to modeling for fine art images...  If you are a model and are interested in shooting TFP, I am eager to start shooting. 

I am just beginning to be active again here on MM, so if I don't get back to you right away, I will as soon as I can.  The best way to contact me is via my MM Photographer page (MM# 188959) as I will be more active there and more active as time goes on.

Even though so much time has passed, I can't begin to say how much I have missed being here.  To all of the photographers I've modeled for and to all of the models who I have photographed (in some cases both), you've been missed.  Please feel free to reach out to me as I'd love to touch base.  To all those who I have let down, please know it was never personal.  I was just much more ill than I was aware of, and I wasn't able to admit this to myself let alone other people.  And, of course, there are no words to say how sorry I am.

All of this being said, I am back on my feet and am looking forward to working with others again.  (Please, just keep in mind that my interest is primarily as photographer and no longer model.)
