I am Ron Mcgee a 48 yo amateur artist .For the past 30 years I have worked as an engineer and technical illustrator. I have worked in many media types and format but my passion has always been the arts. I'm a varied artist, but my specialties are in fantasy illustration, comic illustration, and fine art portraiture. While I do work with live models from time to time, my preference is to work from a photo reference. I usually set up a photo shoot, because I have specific wants and needs in the photos I use. Plus it’s(Less demanding on the model and gives me more time to work. lol.)
Most work will involve some type of special effects makeup or wardrobe and I always pay in cash if at all possible. Commission contracts requiring large amounts of photo time may be an exception. My uploaded samples are older but I will update as soon as I scan new ones. I am also a Photoshop artist and would like to add a photographer page in the future.
