Before I get into “selling” myself, I would like you to bear with me as I describe myself and my intensions while on MM.

I am a married Christian man (34 years and going strong!) who is deeply committed to my wonderful wife. I am also a digital artist who (as a hobby) transforms photos of beautiful women into paintings. The primary reason I FR'd you was to simply give you a sincere compliment regarding your beauty and to ask you to consider giving me the honor of possibly painting your portrait (as inspiration strikes). My goal, if I do paint your portrait, is not to make money off of you or to become famous. It is simply because I enjoy painting the portraits of beautiful women.

Our home is quite busy, as my wife and I share a love for big dogs… we currently have two Great Danes. One is a 3 year old, 130 lb. female named Tessa (who thinks that everything should revolve around her) and the other is Brody, a male, who is currently 15 weeks old and 48 lbs. As a side note about Great Dane puppies…they grow rapidly, gaining an average of 10, 15 or maybe 20 lbs. every two weeks. They are considered a puppy until they are 18 months old, where an average puppy is 12 months. We expect Brody to be a big boy when he’s fully grown, topping out close to 200 lbs. Anyway, I apologize for getting off track, as you can see, I love my dogs!

Now, back to the second reason I FR’d you.

Up until recently, I had, each week, shared a reflection or inspirational story link on my page. I have decided not to continue doing that, but would still like to share something inspirational/strengthening with you (see directly below). My intentions for sharing mirror what the Apostle Paul said/meant in the book of Romans (1:11): "I want to bring you some spiritual strength, and that will mean that I shall be strengthened by you, each of us helped by the other’s faith." I have no intentions on forcing my personal beliefs on you or to pester you regarding “God.” Believing or not in a higher power is a personal choice and I respect that. What is presented below is only to strengthen, uplift or give you something to think about.

A Prayer for Serenity

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
