About Me

I come from a tradition of photographers; both my parents were shutterbugs in their 20s and my great-uncle was a view camera specialist in Mexico. My first photography lessons were taught to me by my father.
I graduated from both CSU Bakersfield and Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California and I studied Photography and History pursuing higher education. I have used both 35mm and medium format SLR film cameras, and now Digital SLRs with Profoto studio lighting.
I have 25+ years experience in photography, developing black & white film by hand and making prints by hand in a darkroom. I am also familiar with color negative and color positive (chrome/slide) film. I continue to learn as much as I can on a daily basis, going out of my way to bring professional results. I look forward to working and collaborating with many artist and models.
