My name is Walt. I am a film and video freelance producer and director that also plays at being a photographer in Western Michigan.


I have been shooting for many years and have developed a style of shooting that is uniquely me, and a favorite of the models and MUAs I work with. I work fast, and am somewhat unorthodox when it comes to the rules of the lens; and along with this non-traditional approach to shooting - my shoots have to be fun. Because if this isn't fun; then what's the point? I have very strong ideas and visuals, but I am also a huge fan of collaboration. . .between the models, the MUAs, and myself.

Previous to working IN photography, I had worked with many models and photographers to develop a promotional/bts video that is a more 3 dimensional approach to a portfolio. Combining many forms of media; including port pics, video footage of the model/photog in action on shoots, music, interviews, whatever would be appropriate to the model or photog. I am hoping to use the connections here to pursue individuals interested in a video of that caliber. I have all new work there, as well as my tears sheets. I have made it a priority to get my models published this year. Mostly smaller artistic magazines, mostly print. Tasteful and classy, no T&A magazines or pure digital. On of my favorites is Sheeba Magazine, they do amazing work: http://www.sheebamagazine.com/


Escorts: I have no problem with escorts as long as they are respectful and helpful.   To be warned tho, I may put them to work holding extra wardrobe, reflectors, or whatever else is needed.  I do reserve the right to ask an escort to leave the room or wait elsewhere if I feel they are being disruptive.

Pay: I will pay a model if a) they can provide proof of professional experience in the genre of the concept we are shooting, and b) I have a client or sponsor that is paying me for the completed work.
I will consider TF if a) the model has no experience but is shooting for an existing series I am working on, b) The concept is interesting and something I feel confident will improve my portfolio or is marketable/publishable.
