AKA TAMARSHA FOTO

I've been a photographer all my life, off and on, and have been in the art business for forty years. Back in the '60s I wanted to be David Bailey; at some time between then and now I discovered I'd rather be me. I am a professional; I have experience in film and stage production, including lighting, wardrobe, and makeup, and have shot stills for films. I have worked feature and hard news photography, everything from parades and auto races to floods and combat.

My favorite style is 1930s and 40s Hollywood Glamour - the style of George Hurrell and Clarence Sinclair Bull, shot digitally or on film using the same type of theatrical lighting. I also enjoy interpreting concepts from 18th and 19th century art as evidenced in my shoots with NYMPH, Selene Drake, and Raven Le Faye.

I also am experienced in fashion, theme, and fantasy photography, as evidenced in the port., although I do need some help wrangling dragons....

2016 ANNOUNCEMENT: My 'theme project' for this summer will be 'Silk Stockings.' Any model who wants to shoot on the Oregon coast wearing silk stockings (and little, if anything, else) please contact me here!

I continue to shoot mermaids, either in tails or with a few attached fins and body paint. I'm currently booking mermaid shoots for next year, starting in May!

I am always looking for new models to work with in the SF Bay Area, Santa Barbara, and my home base on the Oregon coast....

I am an 80 mile detour west of I-5 at Corvallis to Newport and then south to Waldport; it makes a convenient break going south to SF and LA, or north to Portland, Seattle, or Vancouver.
