About Me

I'm an easy-going, open-minded guy. No matter how bizarre the request, no matter how insane the location; I always get the shot, and I never leave a shoot unfinished. I'm big on conveying opinion & emotion with every shot; including a narrative that may otherwise be missed. I prefer to shoot alternative styles, and also prefer studio shoots to external locations (though this is entirely subjective).

I prefer to shoot in 4/3 format, and all pictures are developed in Adobe Lightroom (Currently). I have my own home studio and lighting, and a variety of props.

I'm here to launch myself as a Brand. The "Phantasmo Photography Project" will ultimately result in a website, primarily a stock database, but which also acts as a Hub for other photographers. These others would be photographers we have approached (from universities, colleges, etc.), that have yet to have a chance at a photo-shoot. The idea, overall, is to give those that need the experience a valuable insight into the trade, while at the same time generating income via the sale of stock photos, commission shoots & a cut of prints sold (for both 'tog & company).

About me:

I'm 27, born in the North, raised in the South. I'm an intellectual at heart; but art has always been my passion. Photography speaks to me in a way no other medium ever has; and thanks to the advancement of digital media, the options for post processing & effect work are now beyond imagination. I wish to use this medium to convey emotions, stories, personal reflections, and characters; all in a singular still image.

The kinds of shoots I'll accept will be from well-meaning people who want their picture taken. I.e., Anything!
Tell me your ideas, and I'll work with them; Tell me what you have in mind, and I'll work with you to create a brief that can benefit both parties. I always ensure that my clients are well taken care of, and that their artistic vision is kept intact whilst not compromising the direction of the 'shoot.

I will accept TFP/CD shoots, voluntary work, or "On-A-Whim" shoots; so feel free to contact me.

I DO NOT work with other photographers on a shoot. This is my only non-negotiable point.

I offer an on-the-spot retouch service. That is, as soon as you've seen a picture you feel happy with, we can sit and edit + retouch that very same picture, changing any details, colors, filters, effects etc, before proceeding to the next shot. This service must be requested previous to the shoot.

Copies of the photos I take at this point will be free; This may change in the future. Prints will be chargeable.
