Lourenso graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2000 with a degree in Photography.

Professional Beginnings:
After graduation, Lourenso began his career as a product photographer for Macy’s catalog, honing his skills and eye for detail over four years. In 2004, he published "Mask: The West Indian American Carnival," the first photography book documenting the vibrant West Indian American carnival in the U.S. and Canada.

Career Highlights:
Lourenso’s freelance career took off in 2006 at Goldmark Studio, where he specialized in shooting high-end jewelry for catalogs and advertisements. In 2007, he founded Complexion Magazine, celebrating the rich diversity in American fashion and music. His fashion photography career soared in 2009 when he joined E-fashion Solutions, collaborating with prestigious brands like DKNY, Lacoste, Ben Sherman, Sean John, Rockwear, Baby Phat, Dereon, and eBay Fashion Vault.
