To paraphrase (or perhaps butcher!) Socrates, I have always believed that a life without pursuing one's passions is not worth living.  While working on my full time job on Wall St, I have dabbled in my free time with various artistic mediums for years, it's only recently, after being inspired by some of the brilliant artists on this site (and one in particular!), that I decided to seriously pursue a passion for capturing human beauty whether face or figure using the photographic medium as opposed to pastels or charcoal (although I am not above using photoshop to create this look from photos :-)).

I am fascinated by colour and light, form and shape, and the art of telling a story and/or capturing a mood or emotion in visual (and also written) form.  I would like to experiment with different types of shots - from the arty, black and whites shadows, cuts and lines - to fashion, glamour and pin-up shots both indoor and outdoor that compel the viewer to look at with more than a passing eye.

To achieve these admittedly lofty goals, I am hoping to meet like minded photographers and models that I can learn from and collaborate with on increasingly creative ventures, and build mutually compelling portfolios.
