Hi everyone, I’m Dawnie Darkko,aka Diamond and I grew up In Olympia WA. What was once one of the biggest music scenes in the NW, has turned to a town filled with scene kids, travelers, hipsters, hippies, and the bums. There’s no place like Olympia, but unless you love the rain I don’t advise you staying for an extended period. Growing up with three older brothers and parents I constantly had a camera in my face, thanks mom. If it wasn’t for her I probably wouldn’t enjoy modeling nearly as much as I do. I’ve always been naturally comfortable through a lens, and performing on a stage. Growing up I spent my summers at my grandma’s. My grandma was a watercolor artist and teacher and was phenomenal at it. She taught me everything I know about painting and drawing. Musically I learned in school and still play the guitar, violin, and piano.
My tattoo inspiration goes back to a piece my mom has on her shoulder of a skull and wings. Ever Since I was of the age to understand what a tattoo was I wanted her tattoo on me. By the age of 16 I was piercing myself at school or home with anything that remotely looked like the size of a needle. Knowing what I know now, I would have never indulged in such a filthy habit. At 18 I got my first dose of ink, and I was smitten. Little did I know that in the next few years I would be working at a tattoo shop, as an apprentice for piercings and getting more ink than I ever thought. I’ve had a total of 20 piercings not including my 16 piece corset, 9 of them above my neck. My favorite piercings are my two dermals by my left eye. My biggest piece is my back which took 19 hrs. The wings are of a crows, for there the spirit carriers, loyal lovers, and elegantly disheveled. They represent my spiritual freedom from this world, and show my care free flighty attitude. Now I’m 22, and I have to admit I’m in love with ink. The only way I can compare getting ink done, is that of the average woman that gets her hair done once a month. She takes her girl time to get pampered and talk to her stylists about all her problems. Leaving there feeling great and loving her new hair style. I can relax in the tattoo chair, talk with the artist about anything going on in my life, and leave their feeling content and beautiful with my new art.
As of right now I am pursuing independent modeling, getting my cosmetology license, and playing music locally or at home with my boys. In the Future I want to settle down and have a family, and work as a body piercer in a shop. I was always told by my mom “you can have whatever you want in this world; you just have to know how to get it”. That’s one of the wise words I’ve held fast and tight to. I love being in the center of attention of a camera, and thanks to my photographer James he will be along the ride to capture these memories in the making. I want to take life at full force and rest when I’m old and its well deserved. My goal is to build an empire that demands perfection, one photo at a time.

I have a real laid back edgy style, considered close to a scene kid or what have you... I love out of the box ideas, and just going with the flow. I'm always smiling, and ready for the next adventure. I am extremely attracted to modeling for tattoo or piercing companies and promoting clothing. Bring it on world!
