Ten years ago I started my career in the fashion industry as a makeup artist. I worked with many top photographers and publications. Despite having beautiful models and amazing photographers to work with, one thing always seemed to ruin that "perfect"mix... HORRIBLE retouching.

It was always heartbreaking for me when I got a retouched image back and all I could see was plastic skin, blindingly white eyeballs, or unrealistic "Gumby" body parts. As a makeup artist, the more "retouched" the image looked, the more incompetent it made me look. I needed the skin to look fresh and beautiful - NOT like a Barbie Doll. Eventually I got so frustrated with having all these beautiful images ruined and unusable for my book, that I set out to teach myself how to retouch images the way I, as a makeup artist, needed them to look.

Six years later I have devoted myself to being the best beauty retoucher that I can be. I pride myself on being meticulous about every aspect of every image. I NEVER (unless someone specifically requests) take the lazy route and simply blur the skin until it is unrecognizable. I pull from my extensive "corrective" beauty knowledge to know when the model may need a little extra highlight or contour to make her even more perfect. Because I have so much experience as a makeup artist, I understand where/how the eyeshadow needs to blend, where to add a little extra color for perfect lips, IF a little extra makeup needs to be added how to do it subtly and beautifully, etc. My goal is to make your images look perfect without people even knowing they were retouched.

My prices are very competitive for the level of retouching that I do, vary depending on how much retouching the picture needs, and I offer bulk discount (5 image minimum). However, you will be given an exact quote once I see the image and know exactly what you would like me to do to it. I will then send you proofs before any commitment is made (all images will be watermarked until payment is received in full - Paypal, money order, or check - any additional retouches, other than what the quote was based on, may require additional payment). I have a very quick turn around time (most cases within 7 days, however, rush orders can be negotiated).
