About Me

WoodEye is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He took up photography in high school shooting for the school newspaper and yearbook. He also worked for the local weekly paper and started shooting rock bands. He went on to shoot for the university paper while attending Evergreen State College. While money was not made, great images and memories were, he says. When plans were announced for the Experience Music Project museum, WoodEye contacted the staff and submitted photos. Some of those images are now on display including the very large print of Rail in the Northwest Passage. Since 1992 WoodEye has participated in the Iguana Photo Workshop in Santa Fe New Mexico. This workshop was created by WoodEye and Santa Fe photographer, Chris Corrie for the sole purpose of "shooting for the wall". In other words, he adds, to define and refine our vision into a finished presentation.
