About Me

I don't just want to do "pretty"; I want to produce "pretty interesting" photographs! That's my mantra. This portfolio is rather small, so if you're interested in working with me, please view  my facebook page for a large selection of images:  http://www.facebook.com/john.t.keehn.  All sites are updated regularly. Nevertheless, many thanks for having a look at my portfolio on MM.

Professionally, I shoot interiors and exteriors for building contractors, GC's, interior decorators, etc.  As a creative photographer for many decades, I work on themes, such as black & white abstracts, figure photography, street life, doors and portals, AZ nature, and so on.  For my commercial projects and publications, I will normally request a test session to make sure that the model is suitable in all respects to the project.

My rates are reasonable, and  from time to time I have often helped aspiring models with TF sessions.  These TF shoots are normally on Sundays and Saturdays at an industrial site in the Scottsdale Airpark for about 2 1/2-3 hours.  I encourage models to bring an assistant to help them with hair, makeup, etc. I cannot accept every request, but please feel free, nevertheless, to ask.  My MM portfolio has some typical examples of Studio Airpark industrial themed images.  I schedule  all sessions in areas that are interesting and help make creative, eye catching, prize winning images..

My studio is located in the Scottsdale Airpark, where I prefer and love working outside using my many, many dirty, dusty, and badly painted industrial themes.

And finally, each month I teach a workshop in Scottsdale, AZ, an SABB.  Those who participate receive $120.00 for three hours on a Saturday morning.  Please contact me if you are interested, or go to my facebook for more information.

Thanks for viewing my portfolio.

Credit Notes

I won two very large, international photographic prizes/accolades at onegalleryplace.com.  The first was a photo entitled "Species" a VIP winner and the other was a photo of a typical South African spaza shop in a Stellenbosch black township.  You can view these photographs them on my OMP listing #91886.  I have published "Township Chic RSA" and my photographs have appeaedr in many magazines and point of sale material primarily in connection with World Cup Rugby 1995 (see the recent film "Invictus"), promotion of the City of Cape Town for Olympics 2004, and World Cup Golf 1995.
