(Please note:None of these images are digital, they have all been shot with film and been created in the darkroom.) While there are some amazing photographers who use photoshop and produce beautiful results, I have chosen to stay based in film.

Why Film?

You don't take a photograph, you make it.
The negative is comparable to the composer's score and the print to its performance. Each performance differs in subtle ways.

Somewhere between Nature and Industry, Beauty finds a way to break
thru. In that place, is where the work of Alexander23 is at home. A post industrial landscape. Images come together from the fertile crescent of my imagination. All of my work is created with film and in the darkroom. If you would like to work together on my project but feel my distance is a big factor, email anyway..I am experimenting with a few models from a far to "bridge the gap between us."

These are my dreams, the finished work is a dreamscape.

The finished print however is then only enlarged in photoshop and printed in a large format approx 24"x30" or larger and then is shown in various solo and group gallery exhibitions in the United States,New Zealand and wherever I can show my images. I am looking for female models, male models, artists, dancers, ect..in the United States, New Zealand and OZ interested in working together, on this project.
