04/17/10: I apologize for the long absence. I have been off the local scene for a while but am currently trying to get back in the swing of things. I have a whole bunch of new clothes waiting for the runway and for photo shoots! I also started an Etsy shop so i can stop being selfish and share my creations with people who are as excited about them as i am.

Hello! my name is Linden Simone. I have been an independent clothing label for 4 years. Located in Sacramento, CA, i mainly do local runway shows and sell my clothing on my Etsy store http://www.etsy.com/shop/lindensimone

My clothing is made mostly of used and vintage fabrics using vintage sewing patterns that i have added my own twists to. in addition to the one of a kind "from scratch" pieces, i also rework vintage and used clothing. taking something that has been forgotten on a rack and turning it into something new. allowing people to see it in a new light.

my goal for joining this site is to find local models for photo shoots and local runway shows. I am a small local independent designer working on this in my off time so compensation is not usually something i can offer. i am, however welcome to negotiation on trade or discounts.
