I've been a professional photographer since leaving university. I worked for a newspaper for 6 years, during which time I was lucky enough to have some of my work published in newspapers and magazines around the world, and in 2012 I won 'news photographer of the year' at the East of England media awards. After leaving my job at the paper, I travelled with my camera to work on various projects with different organisations, and was even commissioned to photograph a wedding in Mongolia. Upon returning to the UK, I started a new job writing for one of the UK's leading photography magazines - so I can share my knowledge and experience. I also freelance for other magazines and clients, and have been lucky enough to shoot portraits of some of the biggest names in football. I also photograph a number of weddings every year, and recently did the wedding of a Premiership footballer.

From this site I'm hoping to be able to work with some talented people to produce some special images. I'm more than willing to help out people just starting out, as well as shooting those with more experience. I'm only taking on TFP work, as I've spent years honing my skills and thousands on equipment, so I don't pay to shoot as well. I'm looking to try out new ideas and have some fun in the process. If you're looking to get some pictures published, then I can certainly help with that. Every month I write tutorials for the magazine I work for, and often they are portraiture based, and I need people happy in front of the camera for the occasional shoot - so if you're interested, don't hesitate to get in touch!
