About Me

I'm a figurative painter that uses the Florentine method (the same method as DaVinci, Raphael, Rubens, etc.). My images are allegorical and usually a bit surreal. I have an ongoing need for models and usually don't know what look I want until I have my painting well planned out. When I work with a model, I use a combination of sketches and reference photos. The photos are typically destroyed (unless the model wants them) after I complete the painting. I really prefer to work with models who love and appreciate fine arts or are also artists.
