We are a husband and wife photography team with a studio in Ankeny, Iowa.

Our vibe is very simple. We are VERY relaxed and laid back. We create a fun, friendly atmosphere that will allow you to get the best shots possible. We will laugh and joke and go with the flow if anything doesn’t go perfectly.

Because it never does. Our models will sometimes have their eyes closed, forget to bring certain grooming supplies, have wardrobe malfunctions.

We will sometime have our thumb over the lens, have bulbs burn out at inopportune times or move inadvertently and make a possibly good shot blurry. That happens. So we deal with it by sharing a laugh or two and move on.

Make no mistake about it, we take what we do very seriously and we WILL get the shot, but we take ourselves very lightly. If you are looking for a high stress atmosphere where everything is high drama, this is not your studio.

We love to shoot a great many things. We specialize in working with newer models by giving them a safe atmosphere to spread their wings and try new things. If an idea doesn't work, we hit the delete button and it never happened. That is the beauty of digital photography. I wish life came with a delete button like that...

We just love working with models who have a great attitude. Everything after that kinda takes care of itself.

While we are interested in keeping the lights of the studio on, our rates are VERY reasonable. We also work with quite a few models on a "time for prints" basis. Simply put, you share your time and talent with us, we will make available any and all shots we take during the session so we BOTH can have something we are proud of!
