I am a hairstylist for Vidal Sassoon Salon here in Chicago.  During my work week, I cut hair, but when I am off the clock, I like to work on set and style hair for photoshoots. Here at all the Vidal Sassoon Salons across the world, curling irons and round brushes are strictly prohibited.  The reason behind it is because it is against our philosophy of "wash and go" hair.  Hair is cut to style and requires no styling, a precision cut means being able to shake your hair and each strand falls perfectly in place resulting in precise beautiful laser lines. However, I like to take what I gained from Sassoon in cutting and my skill in styling hair to create a new and edgy, creative look.  I understand not all models want their hair cut for a photoshoot, but that is why I also know how to style hair.  I am looking to build my portfolio and would love to continue cutting hair, which is my passion, but I also dream of working behind stage styling hair for Fashion Week or Italian Vogue.
