UPDATE: I am photographing a wedding in Paris, France, on May 10, 2013 and will have a few days after the event free to shoot. I would love to meet up with someone who would like to do some trade work. Ideally I would like to photograph a couple in a mock Engagement Session for my portfolio. Please let me know if you would be interested. Sunday, May 12 or Monday May 13 would be ideal as I am leaving back to Los Angeles on the 14th.

Hello. My name is Ray and I am a photographer in the Southern California region who's goal is to shoot (meaning photograph) as many different scenarios and subjects as possible. I have been a concert and event photographer for years and have been making my way into weddings and model shoots and am finding great satisfaction in those subject matters.

To give you an idea about me, I much prefer the rock-n-roll world over pop any day but can adjust to just about any scenario. My attractions are: Tattoos, Dark imagery, subtleness, horror/sci-fi, girl-next-door... I could go on but the list would be endless - I think you get the idea. I would like to work with people who are grounded and are not drama-filled. Life is too short for pretentiousness and selfish attitudes.

Pet peeves: (I feel I must)
- Being late without contacting prior to being late, not after.
- Drama - please leave that at home, in your car, in your head, etc.
- Arrogance, selfishness, pretentiousness (all go down as one)
- Being drunk or drugged out
Stay away from these and we'll probably have a great time. Oh, don't worry, I won't bring any of these qualities to shoots either.

What I would like to get from this site is more experience shooting people but I would rather do it in a non-cookie-cutter manner. I am by no means a master photographer but I really would like to approach my subjects with a different and (hopefully) unique point of view. I realize this probably alienates a good chunk of people out there for me to pair up with but I figure we might as well make this fun and exciting, right? Thanks for reading...
