Some people paint, some draw or sculpt, but I think we all try and find an outlet for our creative release, and mine is photography. I have shot as a part- time professional in all the usual genre’s; baby, wedding, school, portraiture, sports, and newspaper photography. Now that my kids are grown and my life is more settled, I find I have the time and means to devote to my lifelong passion of photography. My main focus is on the female form such as pin up/ glamour photographs; but lately my creative side has pulled me more to shooting more themed styled shots to tell a story or more fine art styled photographs.
I do travel frequently, and often try to set up shoots in the areas I will be in. I will usually browse MM and try to find models in that area that have a look and style that I am seeking. This affords me the opportunity to work with talented people from all over that I might never get to work with otherwise. Sometimes this works out quite well and I am able to create some stunning photographs. I do find that that this type of shooting on the road is very good at keeping one on their toes and thinking. You definitely have to bring your “A” game on this type of shoot.
I am a professional and as such do not use MM for dating or hook ups; my wife often accompanies me and will help as an photo assistant or maybe even a second shooter, getting behind the scenes shots for me. If interested in working with me drop a line through MM and let’s make some stunning images.
