Roni began her career in the fashion/beauty industry as a teen model,  in 1980, appearing in print advertisements and runway shows for both national and local clients such as, Dillard’s, Famous Barr, Saks 5th Avenue, Casual Corner, Baker’s, Timothy’s, Casa Blanca Salon, House of Sharon, Sunburst Boutique and many more throughout the Saint Louis-Metro area. She attended South West Illinois College and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, majoring in Fine Art and Design, apprenticed at Casablanca Hair Salon and Vivianne Woodard Makeup Studios and then went on to style and direct photoshoots for John Casablanca’s Model and Talent Agency. In 1988 She relocated to Southwest Florida and continued to model for national clients (Saks 5th Avenue, RJ Reynolds, Garnett Hill, BASS, BMW) until becoming an Art Director in 1994, for regional publication Gulfshore Life Magazine. After receiving many accolades and awards from the Florida Magazine Association for her work as an art director, in 1999 she began a freelance career, styling props, wardrobe, food, hair and makeup for commercials, television, print advertisements, editorial fashion layouts, weddings, as well as wardrobe and style consulting.



During the past ten years she has worked as a wardrobe and style consultant for Hyatt Brands and WINK-TV (TV anchors, Lois Thome and Chris Ciffate), has styled food for national publication Cooking Light Magazine, styled wardrobe for national publication The Kiplinger Report, produced national print advertisements for Anheuser Busch “Icehouse” and Bayer Pharmaceuticals “Beta Seron”, headed hair and makeup team for LEVI’S national fashion show, acted as West Coast Fashion Director for Palm Beach Media Group for their publications Naples Illustrated Magazine and Tampa Bay Illustrated Magazine.



During her career she has produced more than 50 magazine covers through either, direction, wardrobe styling or makeup and hair styling. She has done hair and makeup for many celebrities such as movie actress and Days of Our Lives/All My Children star, Darlene Dahl; Broadway performer and creator of Lee/gendary, Soomi Kim; tennis pros Stefan Edberg, Bjorn Borg and Boris Becker; media personality, Willard Scott; as well as professional golfer, Rocco Mediate, to name a few. She’s also interviewed celebrity fashion designers for print such as Michael Kors of Project Runway; Bill Blass designer and author Michael Vollbrach; luxury bag designers Richard Lambertson and John Truex of Lambertson & Truex. She has also done hair, makeup, costume consultation, special effects makeup on short film for Starrunner Productions under the direction of internationally known artist and Sayoc combat choreographer, Rafael Kayanan. She has also worked with many international photographers including, Barry Kinsella and award-winning photojournalist Phillipe Diederich.
