My favorite thing about photography is finding those exact moments to click the shutter. Although digital photography has made it easy to fire at will like a machine gun and hope for the best, I often spend time between shots, just looking through the viewfinder to spot that perfect moment to click. I also love to use rangefinders which forces you to slow down, focus, and really pay attention to the model.

I love to shoot portraiture and street photos. I have an ongoing project of nude (topless) portraiture that I plan to self-publish as a book. This project focuses on drawing attention to the eyes and facial expression of the subject. I'm also doing a series on twins/siblings. I am inspired by Avedon, Cartier-Bresson, Diane Arbus, Hannes Heikura. I aim to shoot beyond the typical fashion photo, to find something genuine behind the mask of a model's pose. I hope my pictures show this.

I own one camera too many and shoot a combination of digital, medium format film, and large format polaroid. I am currently doing TF for the projects mentioned above, or paid portraiture projects.
