"..Fashion fades, style is eternal" is the motto and mission statement of druChristine Couture.  As a designer, Drue Thompson, talents have been showcased in many levels; from costume designer and stylist of local celebrities to fashion show producer and writer, her expertise in the areas of fashion covers them all.

Self taught in sewing and design by the age of 13, Andrea's passion for the art of design continued through college where the designer honed her skills and furthered her love for the art as Drue began to produce college based fashion shows showcasing minority students.

Shortly after graduation from The University of Akron, the designer relocated to Los Angeles where she worked as a costume designer and stylist.  While in Los Angeles, Drue further developed her skills as a designer as her talents were featured in various television programs, films and magazines and music videos.

Upon her return to Cleveland, Drue worked to market her apparel for the 'Urban Sophisticate' through several avenues.  By summer 1999, druewho? apparel was featured in Next Urban Gear followed by the premier of the designer's web site, druewho.com.  The designer also produces a series of fashion showcases highlighting current collections on an annual basis.

The works of druChristine Couture is responsible for designing and styling the looks of some of Cleveland area's local celebrities including Z 107.9's "Mid-Day Diva" Robyn Simone, R & B Sensation, Tommy Johnson, the Z107.9 Street Team, The ?On-Point' Coors Light Spokes models and The Ohio Classic Modeling Team, just to name a few.  The designer works were also featured for the local rap artist "Brainz Davis" (Formerly M.C. In an effort to give back to the community, in 2005, the designer developed, 'Promises', a program to sponsor high school students in need of prom attire and other amenities associated including hair, makeup, nails and footwear.    Drue also worked closely with the Crozier Lee Foundation as the stylist/fashion consultant for the Public Access Show, "Help! I need a makeover" on Adelphia (now Time Warner).  The designer currently devoted time to Dress for Success as a personal shopper and donor for the annual ?A Denim Affair'.

Drue has extended her talents in the area of fashion as a freelance arts and entertainment writer for several local publications including Talk of Cleveland Magazine, The Urban Crusader News, Cleveland365.com, Epitome Magazine, as well as her own blog, "Confessions of a Clotheshorse (http://www.druewho.blogster.com) and monthly newsletter, ?Cleveland (Fashion) ROCKS!', featuring local fashion news and events.  druChristine Couture was also showcased on an episode of "My Super Sweet Sixteen".
