I am a photographer based in Southend in Essex.

I work with Male models mainly creating fine art nudes, underwear photography and fashion photography.

My main motivation with my photographic art is to create work that expresses myself as an older man who has recently redefined himself and 'come out' as gay.  Being nearly 40 yrs old when I did this I had, as you might imagine, faced extreme fears that were very real when I first perhaps "should" have come out, and walked a path of trying my best with all courage and endeavour to do "what's right" by society and please those important to me.

What "living for others" brought me was ill health, mentally and physically due to the torment of being in opposition to one's own inner being.  Now that I have come out, in 1 year I have lost nearly all of my body fat, 6 stone in fact, and have grown in confidence dramatically. 

"It is good to live for others, but to deny oneself helps no one."
