Hilda started as a hairdresser some twenty years ago. After having passed several courses and in the mean time gaining lots of experience she was ready for a new challenge. Always having been fascinated by (long)hair and make-up, the road to hairstyling and make-up artistry was quickly selected.

So, she took lessens form some of the most well known fashion artists in make-up and hair.

She graduated in the following classes:
Make-up, at the 'B-academy' from Pascale Tesser.
Fashion Hairstyling at 'The Hairschool' from Rutger van der Heide and Martin Wentzel.
Masterclass make-up at 'View Agency' from Benjamin Puckey.
'On The Set' level 2' (masterclass hairstyling) and 'Long hair inspiration level 2' at the 'B-academy' given by Ilham Mestour.

Keeping her eye out for opportunities to improve her skills and to keep up with the latest trends, she still takes courses.
Being passionate about working for fashion shows and photo-shoots she is now a regular member of a team working for Amsterdam International Fashion week, Tommy Hilfiger and Karl Lagerfeld shows.

Hilda's commercial jobs mainly comprise make-up and hairstyling for fashion and'or editorial photo-shoots as well as for Advertisements and short commercial TV movies. Besides all these activities she works as a freelancer for a select number of agencies.
