I use photography as my sketch book for my work as a cinematographer.
While cinematography for a narrative film usually requires many people, a lot of equipment and collaboration with many artists - Photography is an intimate medium for me I use to explore my own interests without the "Noise" of a movie set.

Sometimes I'll set up a photoshoot to create an environment similar to the one I'm about to shoot in a movie, and other times I'll just do something that I have no other opportunity to do. I have a small but fully equipped  studio downtown LA and my shoots are usually not for profit.

In addition, I have a life long portraits project.
