I trained for a year on a make-up course at Delamar Academy in Ealing, London and graduated in July 2008. The course covered all aspects on make-up including, theatre, character, casualty, basic prosthetics, period hair and make-up (18thC, 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's), wig dressing, application, removal and care, facial hair (making, dressing, application and removal), make-up for TV and Film, and all importantly in fashion. I have had some experience in theatre, TV, designing make-up looks for student films, music videos and have also done a few test shoots including two as part of my course. I am looking to get into the fashion (commercial and editorial) side of the make-up industry and so hope to collaborate on some more test shoots to build up my protfolio and gain further experience.
