Hello!
I am a 20-year-old art student and freelance makeup artist (and occasional barista). I have just moved to Chicago to pursue my passion for art and for a new beginning. I have attended University of Michigan for two years in the School of Art & Design, where I took two courses in stage makeup artistry. I plan to finish up my art degree in Chicago, hopefully at Columbia! For now, I am working and freelancing. I plan to pursue a career in illustration, makeup artistry, and/or tattoo artistry.
I am somewhat new to the field of make up artistry, but I have a passion for bringing out the best in the human face using color and form, just like a painting... The face is just another canvas to paint upon. I love using bright and wild colors to accent the face. I'm a big supporter of individualism when it comes to beauty; I love to see beauty in everyone and everything.
....I am a self-taught makeup artist and I am always trying new things. If anyone who lives in the area would ever like to volunteer their face for artistic experimentation, please let me know! I would love to work with new faces and expand my portfolio!
