Liannet Borrego was born in Cuba in 1988. She is the older of two sisters.
At the age of four, her dad decided to explore her interest for dancing and acting.
At five she began classes of ballet, flamenco, modeling and acting.
Her talent and discipline were the key factors to attend “ The National School For The Performing arts” (Cuba 1996-2000), The Cuban Institute for The Performing Arts” (1993), “ The Cuban Institute for radio And television” (1994)

Her family decides to immigrate to United States in 2000. Miami, Florida became her new home. Her mother started looking for acting, modeling and dancing schools to continue with her artistic education. At the age of twelve, she got enrolled with the ballet teacher Martha Mahr, who gave her the opportunity among other fifty students to apply for a scholarship at her academy and she won it.
During her high school years, Liannet took part of many activities, but the one that took her love and passion was the choreographic dance. She became an important dancer of the “Golden Girls Team” at the Miami Height Senior High School.

Her accolades and awards include, “Miss Teen Cuban American” (2003), “Best Face Miss Teen Cuban American” (2003), “Miss Hispanidad” (Princess 2005), “Beauty Contest Sabado Gigante” (2003), “Dancing Contest Sabado Gigante” (2002), “ The Most Beautiful Daughter Contest” (2002).

She graduated with excellent scores, despite of the many universities that approved her, she decided to continue with her one and only dream; acting.
Her family decided to give her all the support to pursue her dream, and she got enrolled in many acting workshops, diction and accent classes, theater classes, dancing, singing, etc.

Her first soap opera was “ Soñar No Cuesta Nada” (2005), then many more came, “ Mi Vida Eres Tu” (2006), “Acorralada” (2006), “Mi Querido Profe” (2007), “Isla Paraiso” (2007), “Amor comprador” (2007), and her firs incursion to the Anglo market came in February 2008 with the Bollywood movie “ Dostana”, “Species Of The Universe” (Short Film 2008), “The Ripe Scene” ( Short Film 2008), “Chuckle’s Revenge” (Horror Film 2008).

For a beautiful and young woman like her, many offers have come and go, but she is always willing to learn and work. In March 2008 she modeled for “Andrew Christian” fashion designer, she also worked with “ Mj Featuring Sean Kingston” (Music Video 2008), “ Nelly, Arcangel” (Music Video 2008), appear in many entertainment shows as a guest in the Spanish speaking television stations in U.S.A.

At the present, Liannet is filming the feature film, “La Mujer De La Noche” in Miami Florida, as a lead actress. It is only fair to say that a hardworking beauty like her is getting ready to become what she always dreamed, A Hollywood star.
