Hi there! For those who've friended me while I was in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area, I've moved to San Francisco, CA. I may be available for shoots when I'm back to visit family, but otherwise I'm California-based.

I do work in three areas: stock photography, portraiture, and art. Depending on the type of shoot, I may work with models on a paid or trade-for basis. In all cases, I will work with a model to develop a clear contract that protects everyone involved. Before we make arrangements for a shoot, I will make sure we agree on:

* What we're shooting
* Artistic needs (poses, settings, and restyling)
* Comfort and safety needs (pre-arranged, public, or chaperoned)
* How compensation, if any, will be arranged
* Any deadlines or timeline requirements and expectations
* Involvement of third parties (makeup, hair, assistants)
* Post-processing needs and desires
* Usage rights

I think that ironing these concerns out ahead of time does a lot of good things for both model and photographer - it allows me to be ready for you, delivering the goods in a timely manner, and it also ensures that I'm not blindsided by expectations I didn't know existed.

I also typically do all of my own post-processing (but they wouldn't let me list as both a photographer and Photoshop Wizard - sad days). My capabilities allow for a range of services, from a light blemish retouch and color correction to guns-out glamour retouching. Most of my retouching work has been on my own photos, but if you're a fellow photographer and need to offload some retouching work, feel free to get in touch.
