Brittney was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, or the “Holy City”
as it is affectionately called. Whether experimenting with cutting edge makeup
techniques or creating her own, Brittney thrived in any situation requiring hard
work, creativity and ingenuity.
In 2006, Brittney enrolled at MUD, one of the nation’s top make-up design
schools in New York, where she studied advanced character development and the fundamental techniques of prosthetic application and special make-up effects. She studied and applied the non-beauty techniques of make-up artistry using traditional make-up as well and airbrush.
Following N.Y. Brittney made the move to Los Angeles. She then
immediately applied and was accepted for an exclusive internship with M.E.L.
(Make-Up Effects Laboratory). Brittney worked and studied under award winning
special effects artist, Michael Westmore, whose accomplishments include Star
Trek, the Mask, and Rocky.
Within the past two years ago, Brittney has worked on countless projects with
accomplished actors such as: Jaime Presley, Paris Hilton, Simon Rex, Lance Bass, Joshua Gomez, Scott Kinsky, Geoffrey Arend, Sam Saboura and Emily Montague.
