I currently offer on-location, outdoor and studio/apartment shoots in Grand Rapids and throughout West Michigan.  I am also able to travel beyond West Michigan on occasion.  My rates are VERY reasonable - please check my website or message me for a price quote!

I am also offering TFCD in the Grand Rapids area on a limited basis to add more diversity to my portfolio!  I'm very interested in maternity shoots, couples, children (and families) and casual portraits of men and women - any age, any race.  If you have a shoot idea in mind, please feel free to email me!  I'm very open minded and easy to work with.  ^_^

I always assume anyone that I work with will bring an escort, which is more than fine with me, and the only thing I ask is that your escort not try to "direct" the photo shoot. I actually prefer that someone I work with bring an escort, because most of the time that makes them more comfortable - and being comfortable tends to ease the photography session. It's not a requirement, of course! *laughs*

I like to shoot casual pictures, with as little posing as possible. I may ask you to stand somewhere, or move a hand or arm, but for the most part I like to let my subject do what is most comfortable and natural for them. 

I want to shoot the images you want - and I'm ALWAYS open to creative ideas.  I always offer all the finished (and edited) images on a CD after a shoot, and you have full rights to use those as you see fit. I only ask that you sign a release, and allow me to use them in my portfolio. All the finished images are sent to you approximately a month after the photo shoot, usually sooner; and 3-8 proofs are sent as soon as possible after the shoot.
   
I will go anywhere in Grand Rapids & West MI, so if you're having trouble finding a great spot, let me know what you have in mind, or what type of clothing you have picked out and I can help you find the perfect spot for your session.  I also travel to your home if you'd prefer.

My portrait sessions are designed to be fun, relaxed and non-intimidating. My goal as a photographer is for you to have a nice experience and portraits that you love.
