My name is Anastasia, from Elektra Bellydance and I am a professional bellydancer in Wellington city, New Zealand. My modelling has mainly consisted of bellydancing shots for costuming, upcoming events, business cards and general promotion - among many visually documented live shows. I am now wanting to expand my portfolio with different looks, clothing/costumes I've made, make-up and styling ideas and general modelling.
I love the styling and costuming side of things and mainly what I am looking for is networking to further my experience in the modelling side of my career and to meet new, interesting people who I can learn from and share the beauty with.... It's all about the beauty.

As an artist, a dancer, a stylist and a costumier I have a very wide and diverse range of ideas and am very versatile when it comes to a particular desired look for a shoot. I generally do all my own make-up, styling and provide all my own costuming when involved in the modelling side of a shoot - simply because I so thoroughly enjoy it, but am always open to ideas and inspiration from whomever is willing to lend it and am happy to work with like-minded people who share my enthusiasm for creating visual speandor wherever possible in this world.


I am generally somewhere to be found in any kind of festival, fair or live performance art or burlesque show around Wellington City. I dance regularly with Led Zeppelin tribute masters, Whole Lotta Led.

I love alternative photography; dramatic and loud, but beautiful, which is perfect for me as I mostly am involved in bellydancing photoshoots, which call for such visual decadence and a wonderful theatrical and fantastical look. I do not believe in the theory that less is more when it comes to costuming which is abundantly clear when viewing my photos. While that is my personal preference however, I do not restrict myself to one style or particular look and am happy to branch out to explore different aspects and avenues of this artform when required. I am not at this stage comfortable with nude shots but will always be working towards new goals.

I am not heavily experienced in the modelling industry but do have some work under my coinbelt and am always eager to learn and further my knowledge in any field from inspirational and wise characters in the art community.
