Most of my projects right now center around my job as Creative Director for FAB magazine, which is a local bi-monthly fashion publication that caters to students. We try to put together a full editorial spread for each issue.
The creative team is currently putting together our big September Issue which has a 'Gothic, Lady-chic' theme that I will be shooting for.


FAB: Fashion & Business needs models for it's new online publication. It goes out once a month to all our members and those subscribed to our newsletter. Images will also be used in blog style articles.

Projects are not limited to models. I'm very much interested in working with Make-up artists and even stylists. Please contact me if you are interested in working with me on this project.


I'm a photographer and student; I'm currently a senior at the University of Minnesota, but have also attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

I'm a freelancer doing graphic design, photography, and web design under the name Kristen Elida, as well as doing Visual for Neiman Marcus.

I'm interested in portraiture, fine art photography, and commercial/advertising photography.

Most of my work is currently in the fine art realm.
I prefer to shoot outside the studio because natural settings add depth to an image and help create a story or moment. I tend to work mostly with women because much of my work has feminine themes.

I'm not interested in working with flakey models- if you commit to a photoshoot i expect you to show up or at the very least call to cancel. Please respect my time and I will do the same.
