I'm on my way to becoming a film editor/screenwriter, but during that process I've picked up photography as a hobby. I am a student at UCLA School's of Theater, Film, and Television.

A quick background: I started off writing for my high school newspaper and landed a news editing job for a small local newspaper. For the job, I began photographing various things that related to the stories that were in the news section. After the job, I began photography, mainly taking photos of nature and animals. Once learning more about photography, I started with jewelry photography for a company called Zia Zia Jewelry. Eventually, I became very interested in catching a deep sense of time, place, and emotion in my photographs, especially when it comes to people. So here I am now, expanding my portfolio to people and trying to perfect the art of photography.

Currently, I am working on a summer photography project. The photo shoots will start in August 2009. There will be a variety of themes in different locations, environments, and sets. Most recent photo shoot: Studio setting, designed to look like Roman times. I took 5 of the major Romans Gods and shot them in their 'natural' setting. It was a spontaneous idea and something I've always been interested in, Roman history. Feel free to leave your comments/opinions on the photos. I appreciate any form of constructive criticism and take all advice seriously.
